- 12 oz pkg Coleson's Catch Tilapia Fillets
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp Pickling spice
- 1/2 c. Onion diced
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- In a large bottom pan, (enough to accommodate the fillets side by side) boil the water with the onion, lemon and seasonings.
- Add the fillets and simmer for 4-6 minutes depending on thickness.
- Remove and cool.
The broth can be saved for future poaching or used to make soup.
