Tuna with Juniper Berries

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Coleson’s Catch Tuna Steaks
  • 1/4 c Gin
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Marinate for at least an hour.
  • Sprinkle with salt and brush with oil; cook over an open flame or in a hot oven or broiler.

Notes

Juniper berries, in the consumption sense, are most commonly known to us in the form of gin. So the easiest way to make a marinade is with gin. If you don't want to go that route, you can make a white-wine infusion with crushed juniper berries.
