Ingredients: 3 c. sugar 3 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 4 eggs 2/3 c water 1 c. oil 2 c. pureed pumpkin
Cooking Instructions: Put the sugar, flour, soda, salt and the spices in a large bowl, put a well in the middle and add the eggs, water and oil. Mix. Fold in the pumpkin. Grease 3 loaf pans well or line with wax paper. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Additional Comments: Pureed pumpkin, ripe banana or persimmon can be used as the base for this bread.
